During the night of the witches (Notte delle Streghe) in Polverigi. The Rosso Conero festival in Camerano is an event not to be missed.

The "moscioli" of Portonovo are famous mussels that, clinging to the rocks scattered along the coast of the Conero Riviera, are one of the main ingredients of the typical local seafood dishes. Each year in June, the "Mosciolando" festival is held in Portonuovo, a festival centred on mussels, with dishes to taste and wines to try, music, and ancient traditional contests.
One of the feast days awaited with anticipation by the people of Ancona is that of their patron saint, Saint Cyriac (San Ciriaco). It is celebrated every May with a market winding its way through the streets of Ancona.

The wine that makes winegrowing one of the most important activities in the Riviera countryside, is protagonist of a festival in September, which ushers in the coming harvest and crush with all kinds of celebrations. Rosso Conero, is the celebrated and undisputed protagonist of this festival, offering a typicality unfound in other areas. During this festival Camerano is brought to life with wine and gastronomic events where you can try out the various local specialities, accompanied with the dancing, singing, and stalls that fill these days with joy.

All the towns that line the coast pay special attention to the celebration of the mid-August "Ferragosto" holiday. The pyrotechnic display organised over the sea by Porto Recanati is the continuation of an ancient tradition, and provides a breathtaking spectacle.

There are numerous festivals dedicated to the local products that make up the rich and varied menu typical of Marche. From the summer festivals in Castelfidardo dedicated to gnocchi with duck or pigeon sauces, to those in the seaside towns such as Numana dedicated to fish and tasting the local recipes, or those taking place closer to autumn like the one in Agugliano, where chestnuts and mulled wine are the protagonists, or the bread, olive oil, and fantasy festival (Festival Pane, Olio e Fantasia) in Ostra Vetere.
